25 YEARS AGO TODAY
Kilauea Volcano has been going off for 25 years!!!! That is AMAZING. I'm not talking about stop n' go....it has been going steadily for that long.
It has been a popular tourist attraction just as long, and although i go to the "Big Island" I still have yet to see it for myself. How long can a volcano go for??
As long as no one gets hurt, I have no complaints!!!

That is amazing! Where does all the lava go! I don't know that I would want to get very close to it to see it.
its amazing how long its been flowin and the island of Lo'ihi that is sprouting up - I'm gonna be the first to buy land on that island while its still cheap! =)
I have yet to go either! I want to make a trip to Kilauea and Mauna Kea and then to the beach! =D
I read about it when we first started communicating. The Islands of Hawaii are facinating!
I guess it is like that every where. There are so many cool things to do around here, just need to take the time to do them. Now, I don't know if they compare to an active volcano!!!
