The current issues here is that Aloha Airlines which has been in business for 61 years will shut down by the time you read this. Most Airlines go through this "Bankruptcy" period, but they always pull through, and carry on as usual. This is the 1st time that a airline was in the Bankruptcy phase and didn't get bailed out. Some 2,000+ employees not knowing their fate, and hoping for the best....was told hours before there shift was over or to begin...."You no longer are employed". WOW!! I have a dear friend who is a airline mechanic and all in the same day he lost his job, and his wife is scheduled for heart surgery. He thought his only concern would be his wife ( which is thee most important one!) My other girlfriend just gave birth, and is on maternity leave with a mortgage & everything. It's really sad. Those not involved in the "personal" aspect of it, now will cost A BUNDLE just to fly inter island or to the Mainland. Where is Donald Trump when you need him?? oh that's right he's busy with "The Apprentice".

It is so sad to see how things are changing so fast in our world.
I stopped in Rite aid the other night and saw an old friend who had to pick up a part time job because, after 23 years with a company they cut all his benefits out!
It seems like anyone you talk with have worries about the economy. We, who are retired, worry about our pensions. Those working, worry about the job and any benefits. What is going to be cut next? Maybe things will change after the election.
