I love the Gullivers travel story and the metaphor to life - things do pass and they only get better - just when you think it could not get better than this, it really does, just when you think how could things get any worst, theres always something better to look forward to, so I guess you could say, without the bumps in the roads, we would never fully appreciate the views from the cliffs =)
