DADDY TIME......
I was on the shoreline watching this ( inside going "they better not wipe out...it would be a scary one for her). But they caught 6 more waves AFTER this one. so I know she was stoked. When they came in she had a smile from ear to ear and said "Mom, did you see me?"
I played with her. "No honey, what did you do?"
she looked like "MOM how COULD YOU ??!!!"
a second passed and I grabbed her and very excitedly said 'OF COURSE I DID!!" Back to being stoked!

That is SO WILD! I would love to see the look on her face!
That is so sweet, daddy holding her hand. Is that something he always does, or is it because the waves were so big?
Love the pics!!!
Awsome! Now I know why Tiki is so good. She gets it from you and Alika. Your balance on the skateboard and Alika balance on the surfboard. She can't miss!
I love the photo!!
She is a girl after both of your hearts, isn't she? Incredible picture.
K- Daddy DOES hold her hand all the time, except once the wave becomes smaller she wants to let go and do "it herself".
AMAZING! God, I would have been so scared, but I can't stand the thought of Annie even crossing the street and she's 10!
I wish I were more fearless, raising a more fearless child. It's SO healthy!

Hi Dina!! I have been showing my little ones your blog and they LOVE it!! They are facinated by your little surfer girl. I have been going through your blogs and it's sooooo cool to see the pics of you guys and your kids! Tianna looks just like Teri and Simone reminds me of Greg!
I saw one with a picture of your mom and dad...Great memories!!
Brooke is begging me to take her to Hawaii!! Hopefully some day soon!! Take care and say Hi to Teri!!
Hi Cheryl!!!
come to Hawaii!!! man, I only live in a small one bedroom...but we'd all love to see you!! your kids would be spoiled. My husband & I always say we wish we had a HUGE house with 4 EXTRA rooms for all our family & friends!!
maybe someday!! start your own blog!!! it's a great way for family & friends far away (hint, hint) to catch up on your lives!
It makes me *sigh* when I see these types of photos with dad spending quality time with the keiki! Memories that will surely last for a lifetime. I can only wish my father was as kewl. Unfortunately, I did not get to do anything with my father so its so awesome to seeing your hubadub doing fun things with Tiki gurl!
Oh and may I add, you're awesome for taking those photos that will live forever for her to look back on - something about photos that just makes one smile at a moment in time in our life. I don't have any of these kinds of photos with family so my appreciation in seeing yours is even more special. Your ohana is supa awesome! =D
Kala- yeah, it is very cool they spend a special "time" together. as far as the photo, people on the beach that have HUGE photo lens always spock them & take pictures of them & give us the CD. so I did not take this photo!!! it DID run through my mind when I saw them on this wave, "i hope one of the guys (our friends) caught THAT ONE".
