Live,,,,from Waikiki.....HURRICANE FLOSSIE!!!!
This is what it looks like today...it could be WAY worse, due to FLOSSIE. We lucked out , it didn't remain a Hurricane for our Big Island, and it's made a day perfect for catching up on "home" projects..

Our prayers were answered. I am so glad she fizzled out.
If your dad were here he could tell you about Aunt Flossie and Uncle Austin. They were an interesting couple. She was actually your Aunt Dovie's sister, but everyone called them Aunt and Uncle. She would have thought it funny to have a hurricane named Flossie.

thanks for the prayers....yea, and the next Hurricane is 'DEAN'. I love to HEAR his name...I never hear it...I listen to CNN, so they keep talking about DEAN!!
