It's OK to be sad, take as much time as you need.
Just take one day at a time. Time does help. Try to remember the good times. The love and fun you shared as children. I'm sure you have a lot of good memories too. Don't let this sadness spoil them for you. We send our love and prayers.

I'm not sure how one comes over depression and sadness and the lost of a loved one - I lost my parents when I was four and cried for four months as i recalled and still miss them and wish they were here. I wish I learned in that time, how to overcome grief but I still do not deal with a lost of a loved one well. I seem to just block it out. You have a beautiful and loving ohana and I hope they will be the guiding light to your path of happiness in these trying times. Even in his physical absence, love transcends all levels of existence and I am sure he feels your love in his heart, comforting him in more ways than we all will know.
