Pooooorrr Baby Girl.....

tonight I run off after work, to run some errands. Alika decides he & Tiki will stop off at a surf shop to talk to the owner. I NEVER forget my phone....today was NOT THE DAY!! I rush around pull in the driveway ( THINKING THEY ARE WAITING SO LONG FOR ME..) His truck isn't home. I "always" GO THERE. I call his phone, He's at the Emergency with Tiki...a dog bit her. on top of the head. ( she was laying down with the owners dog.. who is very gentle ) and she poked him one to many times....She's fine, but it was a bit scary. no stitches but they looked and cleaned it good!! Now maybe she won't run to every dog like mommy tells her too....ya think??!!! hmmm...i'd bet no. :)

I am so sorry. We have to watch Murphy around kids. Because he is so small they think he's so cute - but he will bite. He doesn't go after anyone, but he won't allow just anyone to touch him. It's a real problem at the vet - we have his teeth cleaned once a year and they put him out and then give him a physical. He goes today to the groomer and the lady that grooms him is the only one at the shop that can touch him.

Oh Dina, what a scare!

I'm soo glad Tiki didn't need stitches and is OK. Some lessons have to be learned the hard way.

Oh no!! Poor Tiki! The same thing happened to Max when he was about 3. He was nose to nose with our neighbor's dog and it bit him on the cheek. It didn't deter him too much from dogs. He still loves them. He is more cautious though. No more face to face chats. Tell her I hope she's better soon!

Sorry to hear about that! It is hard to stay away from a cute puppy. When I used to work, the saying was "if the dog ate supper last night, he can bite you today". Hope this just slows Tiki just enough to be careful.

Its fortunate she learned this without having to get too seriously injured. Dogs can be adorable and understandable she is drawn to them
