HUBBY PLUG.....

Today my hub stayed home...to SURF!! He was really bummed cuz he said the waves were small. This is his new C4 board and even though the waves were not a solid 6ft. + he still had fun!!! A Bad day (small waves) surfing is STILL better than a GREAT DAY AT WORK!! :))

The best part is he did all the laundry FIRST! nice surprise!!!

Then he took Tiki out when he was done. Not on ones this size, but HUGE for her & she killed it!!! I was sooo shocked at how good she did...i was speechless!! I kept wanting her to come in....( I, of course, was terrified at other people hitting her & falling off her board as she has to swim to it while waves are CRASHING ON TOP HER...) SHE WAS HAVING A BLAST!!! I kept saying "one more & come in....." No body listens to Mommy!!!! I PRAY HEAVILY while she's out there...TRUST ME!! I wish I had a video of her waves today. Probably good idea I didn't...you would just hear me in the background FREAKING OUT, PANICKING!!!

Yeeeee Haaaawwww!!!!

I know i have been neglecting my blog, but my BOD has been neglected too!!! & first things first! went to the gym so now I can sit on my Okole!!! ( Hawaiian word for "Butt" )

But I AM EXCITED for the local Rodeo coming. .(May 16Th). I can't wait to take my girl, they have pony rides...she's NEVER even PET a horse, let alone SIT ON ONE!!! I will have some exciting photos to capture that one!!!

Wonderful weekend!!!

This weekend we went to a event where this company called "Fitted" launched there hat line. Apparently these hats are $50.00+. who would PAY FOR THAT. but there concept is they make 50 or 100 hats of ONE design and THAT'S IT..they don't duplicate it EVER. so its a collectors item....cool concept, i guess. Of course my daughter scored a freebie....(kids size).

At the event, WORLD CHAMP SURFER Keanu Asing was giving his board away..... Keanu is 15 and RIPS!! Tiki is mad about him!! she thinks he is such a cuuuuutiie!!!! I'm glad shes only 5....Im NOT READY FOR HER CRUSHES FOR REAL!!!!

Really wishing i could be with family right now!!!! :( Does anyone have cousins, relatives that they don't really know, but have "heard" stories about??!! I think we all do. Thanks to blogging & other Internet sites, I've been able to build a relationship with family far away...now..i want to sit down with them. Have coffee with them. Hear family stories up close.

awwww.. where is all her hair???? Her mom & dad have GREAT HAIR...so although for now, she has NONE...this girl will too have beautiful hair...I'll get my cousin Kathy to be her hair dresser!!

OK, I might & probably to some point am exaggerating....but since DEC this is what HAWAII has been like.

Here & there the sun peaks through...AND on top of it, the winds are up to 20 mph. now I know that's not much to most, especially during winter season. but gosh, its Hawaii & I've been here a loooong time & NEVER WAS IT LIKE THIS FOR 4 MOS. STRAIGHT!! I need the sun!!

The Verdict......

She WON!!!! Oh my, i can BREATHE!!! If it wasn't for YOU ALL...Tons of thank yous to all who took the time to vote & help Tiki get in one of the FINEST CALENDERS of Hawaii!!!!! I drove to work , knowing they will be announcing 6 winners by 8:08am. I ALSO knew, i would be in a very important meeting!! Exactly at 8:08 my phone rang, at the same time my boss said I'll be back in a few. I looked...it was Alika to tell me he had heard it live!!! Mahalo to Tami, my dearest friend who TAPED the announcement to give to us!! xoxoxo
In a week or two they will be shooting for this calender that will have the kids similar to this photo!! Kim Taylor Reese is a wonderful photog, and happy to be part of it!!! I guess y'all know what your getting for xmas!!! ;) Many, many thanks!!!!
