All in a days.....PLAY

I went stand up paddling....and was 10 ft from the biggest pod of dolphins. I slowly paddled up to them and realized....I DON'T KNOW what they would do, so I watched from a few feet away...in AWE. couple of hours later, I saw a Manta Ray below me...not as big as this one, but still seemed big enough!!

Next time ( I go out about 6-10 times a day) I went, a turtle popped up in front of me. They usually dive when they see someone, but he was checkin me out.

KINDERGARTEN ??????

SOMEONE PINCH ME!! I was just recently told that she should sign up for Kindergarten....I felt my heart drop, palms get sweaty..as though SHE just told me she's movin out!!!
I guess I felt everything is JUST fine her staying in the preschool she's at. Sort of like a little time machine letting me know she'll stay young forever...until they told me. Now I was 3 months late in sending in her Application.
I should of wrote a attached letter stating something like this...
"Please excuse Tiki's late application...I was hoping she never gets older and stops wearing pig tails."
oh, I don't know which is worse, knowing she's getting older or ME getting older. am I alone on this?

Tug a War......

This week is full of negotiations, and if all goes well, my husband will be a happy guy:)

MAMA

This was "Mama". I don't really have any other clever name than that. She is a Monk seal who is a Hawaiian seal who is be coming extinct. Went to the North Shore for a contest that Alika was to be in. the waves were REALLY BIG. but as much as we loved Alika and his performance, MAMA was the real star. she was there when we got there, and will probably be there couple days. she is 9 mos pregnant (according to a local lifeguard). Tiki was running up to her all day thinking the baby would be coming soon !! We all had to stay at least 10 ft away.. they are good biters
Early morning...sun not out yet, waves not UP completely yet (like they got later).
Our "boys" from the other side of town came to N. shore to surf the big waves.

Aunt Keoko...Dino Miranda's love, my queen, and Aunty Elke.

Alika caught one wave (THANK YOU GOD) I saw these PRO'S who do this 7 days a week wiping out HARD and struggling with the WIND. Alika is a weekend surfer so to come to the famous SUNSET beach with the size of the waves and tremendous wind...I was glad he lost ( sorry love) but came out without a wipe out. 5 guys boards broke in half due to the conditions. CRAZY.....

To be.....or Not to be.....SCARED!!!

I'm not sure exactly how I would react to this....Of course, because it's not me int the picture, I think it's a sweet picture. In reality, if that was me wanting to catch that wave...I'd be PRETTY SCARED!!! and I LOVE DOLPHINS.

I wish I could hear from those guys, how the rest of their session went.

" I SEE HIM...."

This is our Pastor..Pastor Wayne Cordeiro. He is soo GOOOD. He really draws you in....with humour, parables, his own experience. I have to say, that I am drivin by HUMOUR. For everything. My friends, My Husband, my Pastor. Laughter keeps me coming back!!
For along time we haven't gone to church because Tiki was having a hard time leaving her alone @ the school. On a "local" channel it would show the service.from the week before. That was how we got to church, watching it on TV. Last week Alika & I was watching Pastor Wayne on TV when Tiki walked in the room.
Her eyes got as BIG AS SAUCERS.....and she made a LOUD gasp ..."..MOM....LOOK!!! IT'S GOD!"

WHAT IS THIS WORLD BECOMING??!!!

I don't even know what to say...except....WHAT IS THIS WORLD BECOMING!!!
