She is really into painting lately. She has been home for couple days with a bad cough & cold....but she still feels well enough to paint & perform along her favorite ( for now) movie "Princess Swan".

I wrote down the description she gave me of everything...cuz somethings I "got" & some I had to say..."and this is.....??"

Well , I could sit here and make up a REALLY fancy dinner that I'm making my family, but because I'm sooo honest & real....here it is...

Potatoes...grilled with onions in real butter
Omelets...with sauteed mushrooms & cheddar cheese
Toast... with grape jelly.

yep, simple, simple me...poor, poor husband. Tiki gets her favorite...Ravioli's with cheese & spinach inside with a side of Brussels sprouts!!!

Although Hawaii has been soooo COLD , for sooo long, it sure has kept our Island lush & beautiful!!!

MISSED IT!!!

I'm a huge movie buff, and I truly enjoy watching the Oscars every year, but I missed this one. A good friend is in town and we caught up!!! It was worth the miss. Traditionally I make a nice ( usually Italian) dinner...and watch it. It was nice to hear that Heath Ledger won....its unfortunate that he missed out not only on the Oscar, but his little girl which is worth WAAAY more than a Oscar. I also didn't get a chance to see all the movies that were nominated. I think for me its more enjoyable to "know" what there talking about!!!

To All ( or any) of you Steeler Fans.....Troy Palemalu was here for the Pro bowl, and decided to stay in Hawaii to help out his friend run a football camp for kids.
Sione ( Teri's youngest...on the right) joined the football camp!!! Its for 6 weeks and the 1st week THEE TROY P... (Sione's all time favorite player EVER!) was throwing a football during practice to HIM!!! I am sooo happy for Sione...this will change him FOREVER!!!

Nature's creatures....and the kids that play with them!

This is Nahe, and daring enough to put this crab in her MOUTH!! It was just crawling all over her hand and she wanted to see if it would start crawling in her mouth....aaahh these kids ( and the auntie who take pictures INSTEAD of yelling NO!!) HEHEEEE.
Within minutes of Nahe's crab adventure, they caught a PUFFER FISH on the shoreline. it was dead, but they must of played with it for half the day. Tried to put it back in the water, only for it to float back to the shore.

Daddy comes through AGAIN!!!

Remember her board was stolen??!! Well SHE MADE OUT!! Her Daddy bought her a REAL board. the other was "kiddie" foam, this is Epoxy which is better than fiberglass. she can run into people or visa verse ( something we teach her NOT to do...) but it won't get a gash or hole.

She tried it today and smile from ear to ear & couldn't get her out of the water!! When one door closes...buy a new door!! hee hee

Party Goers....

So, Tiki pulls me on the dance floor ALL NIGHT long!!! It was kid friendly ...all ages were there. It was a launch party for my friends new magazine geared for KIDS surfing . There are sooo many mags with all the adults doing it, he really wanted to focus on all the "up & coming" surfers...the kids get sooooo stoked when they see an article about them , or pictures of them surfing and it just SHOWS up in a magazine...pretty fun for them.

Carissa Moore (in middle blue) is 16 and THEE best surfer of her age!!! She won the Triple Crown which has NEVER been done by someone her age...her sister Kayla next to her (holding Tiki) and Vanina..next Champion in ALL EVENTS and lovely Nahe making silly faces behind every ones back!!

Tonight is a new magazine opening party!! Me , family & friends will all be there to help celebrate quite a few events. I will TRY & take pix and post this weekend. should be fun. Off to do my nails & hair!!

Having NOTHING seems quite easier...there is no decision to make, no regrets, no wondering if it's the "right" choice....

When faced with MANY CHOICES...it's sooo much more complicated!!!!

"When it rains, it pours" or "The phone NEVER RINGS" . Such Opposites....I wish the phone only rang a few times, and instead of rain, I wish it would just SPRINKLE.
